Maintenance Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead all maintenance activities across a complex, multi-shift operation. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving safety, equipment reliability, team performance, and continuous improvement across mobile equipment, stationary systems, utilities, storeroom operations, planning, and procurement.

The ideal candidate is a visible leader who enjoys being on the floor, developing people, and building sustainable maintenance systems that support long-term operational success.

This individual should be familiar with underground maintenance (ventilation etc.) People from the mining industry are a strong fit.

What You Will Do

• Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse maintenance team—including mechanics, electricians, laborers, and planners—across three shifts
• Own and continuously improve preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
• Direct maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for plant equipment, mobile assets, and infrastructure projects
• Partner with operations to prioritize work, solve problems, and support production goals
• Manage maintenance budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and reliability improvements
• Oversee spare parts procurement and inventory management, ensuring appropriate minimum and maximum stock levels
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and long-term maintenance and reliability strategies

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred
• 10+ years of maintenance or reliability experience, including at least 7 years in a leadership role
• Strong experience in heavy industrial, mining, or similarly demanding environments
• Proven knowledge of CMMS systems and modern maintenance and reliability best practices
• A safety-focused leader with strong communication skills and a passion for team development
