Role Overview

As the Training and Implementation Specialist, you will help lead the education and enablement of long-term care (LTC) partners—nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and home health agencies—as they adopt and optimize our platform. You will deliver engaging in mostly virtual training, develop intuitive instructional content, and serve as a trusted resource for end-users and internal teams alike. This is a high-impact role that improves both client satisfaction and care delivery.

Location: Remote-first (Must reside within commuting distance of Tampa, FL)

Responsibilities:

  • Design & Deliver Training Programs
    • Lead interactive training sessions (mostly remote) on software features such as care planning, staffing, electronic charting, resident engagement, and reporting and compliance dashboards.
    • Tailor training curricula to facility type and size, clinical focus and tech environment
    • Conduct “train-the-trainer” sessions for super users so they can cascade knowledge to broader staff teams.
  • Develop Instructional Content
    • Build clear user guides, quick-start guides, checklists, short video tutorials and slide decks that resonate with clinical and administrative audiences.
    • Maintain and revise materials to reflect product updates, client feedback and regulatory updates.
  • Onboarding & Support
    • Collaborate with Customer Success and Implementation Specialists on phased onboarding plan
    • Provide personalized coaching during go live and transitions as needed
    • Manage post launch support channels and ongoing training questions
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Product Management to gather real-world insights on training pain points, feature adoption barriers, and client suggestions; influence the roadmap to improve usability for LTC workflows.
    • Partner with Sales to conduct demos and develop strategic onboarding plans
    • Contribute to Marketing initiatives with success stories, user testimonials and training ROI data
  • Drive Continuous Improvement
    • Gather insights from surveys and support interactions to refine materials
    • Pilot new training techniques to improve learner engagement and retention.
  • Industry Knowledge & Best Practices
    • Stay current with LTC regulations, trends, emerging technology standards and best practices.
    • Attend LTC conferences and webinars to represent and improve our training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Instructional Design, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 2–3 years delivering technical or software training to healthcare staff—ideally within LTC
    • Strong presentation, documentation, and communication skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication: able to translate complex software workflows into intuitive instructions.
    • Experience leading virtual and classroom training sessions
    • Strong collaboration skill

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of EHR or care-management platforms
  • Experience with LMS platforms or instructional design tools
  • Healthcare certifications or clinical experience
  • Familiarity with workflows: charting, compliance, med administration

Travel

  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for onsite training sessions, go-live support, and industry events.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to coordinate travel arrangements (flights, hotels, rental cars) when needed.
