Background and Skills:  
➢ Bachelor’s degree required 
➢ 1-3 years of relevant work experience (preferably in banking, real estate investment, or LIHTC 
development) 
➢ Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to build, audit, and defend real estate 
financial models 
➢ Deep intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities  
➢ Strong oral and written communication skills 
➢ Proficient in standard office applications, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
Key responsibilities include:  
➢ Support the Director of Development & Investments across all phases of affordable housing acquisitions, 
financing, and development 
➢ Prepare and maintain detailed financial models incorporating diverse capital structures and affordable 
housing–specific financing tools and programs  
➢ Compile, analyze, and review due diligence materials, including financial, market, demographic, site, and 
federal and state regulatory information 
➢ Review, validate, and support project budgets, assumptions, and pro forma analyses, including identifying 
and addressing project-specific risks and challenges 
➢ Coordinate and communicate with investors, lenders, brokers, property managers, and industry 
consultants 
➢ Prepare and complete applications and documentation required for debt and equity financing, property 
acquisitions, government subsidies, and rental assistance contracts 
This role is well suited to someone who thrives working in a lean, collaborative environment, is comfortable 
navigating ambiguity, and wants exposure to the full lifecycle of affordable housing investments – from 
acquisition to stabilization.  
*Must have Project Based Section 8 and 4% LIHTC experience!
