Tax Preparer – CPA Firm

We are seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to assist with the preparation of individual and business tax returns. The right candidate will have experience preparing business and complex individual tax returns

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and fiduciary tax returns

• Organize and analyze client financial information

• Assist with tax research and compliance matters

• Respond to basic IRS and state notices

• Support senior staff during tax season

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

• 1–3 years of tax preparation experience (public accounting preferred)

• Knowledge of federal and state tax rules

• Experience with tax software and Excel

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
