Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and regulations to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with team members to develop tax strategies and solutions tailored to client needs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax laws and changes in legislation.
• Provide support during tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
• Assist in preparing tax provision calculations and related financial statement disclosures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or progress towards CPA certification is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting is desired.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
