Job Title: Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller (Hybrid)
Role Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Accountant / Junior Controller to join our client's corporate finance team. This is a pivotal, senior-level role designed for a professional who excels in full-cycle accounting within complex, fast-paced corporate environments. You will move beyond basic data entry to take true ownership of the General Ledger, drive the month-end close process, and provide strategic financial insights.
What You Will Do

Full-Cycle Ownership: Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle, including complex journal entries, accruals, and meticulous month-end close procedures.

Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements, perform deep-dive variance analysis, and coordinate monthly/quarterly financial reporting packages.

Compliance & Controls: Maintain rigorous internal controls and ensure all practices align with US GAAP standards.

Strategic Planning: Partner with leadership to assist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial modeling.

Audit Management: Act as a key point of contact for year-end audits, preparing high-level working papers and ensuring audit readiness.

Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior staff and cross-functional teams to streamline accounting procedures.
The Ideal Profile

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a mid-to-senior level capacity.

Environment: Proven track record in a mid-to-large sized corporation is essential.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is required (CPA or MBA preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Skills: Mastery of US GAAP and the ability to navigate complex ERP systems and advanced financial reporting tools.
