Excellent company in the greater Knoxville, TN area has been in operation more than 30 years and is still growing. Newly created position for an Electrical Design Engineer to design Analog and Digital electronics. The Electrical Design Engineer will work as part of a 10-person R&D team, and will lead the full design cycle (schematic through implementation) across mixed-signal systems. Will focus on designing complex electrical systems with various electronic modules and wire harnesses, including PC's, GPU's, motors, sensors, actuators and power supplies. The Electrical Engineer will use Altium for schematic entry, PCB layout, and wiring harnesses. Knowledge of Spice circuit analysis is a plus. This position involves technical design as well as hands-on work in the R&D lab.

 

Candidates must have BSEE or higher degree. Prefer at least 5 years experience in the design and test of complex analog / digital  circuits, power supplies, and optical electronics. Candidates should be familiar with digital interfaces like SPI, UART, USB and Ethernet.
