Senior Production Manager

Responsibilities:

Oversee a team of ~85 people (5-7 direct reporting team) with budget responsibility of $50MM+ (opex budget) and responsibility for a 5-year strategic plan. You’re joining a well-run unit with a very capable staff and you essentially own the asset within this plant, ensuring that it continues to run safe and smoothly. The manager that this role reports to values humble, extroverted, servant leaders who excel at developing and maintaining high-performing teams. Stability will be the name of the game here – there are not likely to be any short-term advancement opportunities, but there will be the opportunity (potentially) to move around to different units and some of the  units have larger personnel groups than others.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering highly preferred, will consider other engineering degrees with requisite experience
• 10+ years of overall industry experience out of continuous chemicals manufacturing or refining (PSM-regulated manufacturing experience is a MUST-have)
• Should have 3+ years of experience managing at least a small production or operations team
• Previous union-plant experience is a huge plus
• Must be an excellent communicator
