Overview:
We're working with a client that is building a new greenfield manufacturing facility near Charlotte, NC and they’re looking to add an engineer with strong process controls experience, specifically with PLCs and Rockwell Automation.
This role will support major capital investments and manufacturing process improvements at an industrial manufacturing facility. You’d lead the design and implementation of manufacturing controls for a greenfield site and work on a variety of projects. The position blends technical controls engineering, project management, and cross-functional leadership, with direct impact on production efficiency, compliance, and long-term site success. This is an onsite role reporting to the Engineering Manager.
Several processes are being transferred to this facility from a sister plant, so you’d have the opportunity to visit that site and learn the ins and outs of those operations before startup. Opportunities like this don’t come around very often - it’s a great chance to learn a lot and be part of building something from the ground up.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a process controls or automation engineering role
- Experience with Rockwell Automation systems and PLCs is required
- Project management and plant startup experience is preferred
