Process/Production Engineer

Job Description/Overview:

My client is a quickly-growing quasi-startup company in a new space within the consumer products and chemical industry. They are looking for a technical whiz who will be able to who has a desire to grow into a leadership role. They use crystallization, distillation, filtration, drying and packaging equipment at this facility and are in the midst of ramping up production.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering preferred – will consider a Mechanical Engineer or Industrial Engineer with the right background
• 1+ years of post-college, manufacturing experience, out of chemicals, pharmaceutical or related manufacturing (previous cGMP experience a major plus)
• Experience with the following process unit operations is a plus: crystallization, de-waxing, solvent recovery, distillation/fractionation, drying
• The ability to learn quickly and wear several hats will be critical traits for doing well in this role
