IT Lead
Location is in Hackensack, NJ
Will work on –site 4 days a week with 1 day remote.
Hours are from 9:00-5:00
Salary is $100,000-$110,000 (They don’t want a junior person who lacks experience and they don’t want a senor person who will be bored and leave. They want a mid-range person who can help them grow.
They have about 85 Attorney’s, and with sales, marketing and administration adding to the rest of the 120 employees.
Position is for an IT Lead
Note: This will be the first IT person hired inhouse. Their goal within a few years is too possible bring all support in-house and no longer use an outside vendor.
- They have a outside vendor that is handles most of the IT functions, however they want to bring someone inhouse to support the immediate needs of all the users working for the company in all their locations.
- This person will handle all laptop issue, including they are functioning 24X7. Making sure when users are doing demos and presentation that the laptop is working effectively. Making sure spare laptops are up and running for additional usage.
- Heavy troubleshooting issues for day-to-day activities.
- Highly prefer someone coming out of a Law/Legal marketplace, however, will see people from other industries.
- Need someone very flexible in their skills to do anything required to ensure the offices are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Must be able to work alongside/collaborate with the outside vendor. Keep a strong relationship, so the company can maintain a successful, productive operation.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Heavey interfacing with Lawyers, Litigation, Billing, Administration, “C” level executives, Sales, Operation and Marketing teams.
Key Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of relevant technical experience
· Proficiency in Windows 10/11 and MS Office Suite (2016+)
· Strong customer service, analytical, and presentation skills
· Effective communication, both written and verbal
· Ability to work collaboratively and independently under tight deadlines
· Attention to detail and organizational skills
· Law firm experience preferred
· High ethical standards and confidentiality
Responsibilities
· Serve as primary liaison between the firm and third-party IT support
· Ensure deployment and maintenance of office technology (computers, printers, scanners, phones)
· Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and peripherals
· Track and resolve issues
· Install and configure equipment per firm guidelines
· Maintain conference room AV and video conferencing systems
· Assist with office moves, remote events, and office support as needed
· Address wireless connectivity issues for internal and external users
· Coordinate repairs with vendors
· Perform other duties as assigned
