Position Overview:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the audit engagement, including the planning, execution, and review of workpapers, the preparation of audited financial statements, and active participation in client meetings as required.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, with a strong emphasis on the subject matter.
  • Possess a valid CPA license or have successfully passed the CPA exam.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting.
  • Preferably, have experience in auditing not-for-profit and affordable housing entities.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.
  • Exhibit strong accounting proficiency and understanding.
  • Display exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Be flexible in scheduling and adapt as necessary to meet project timelines.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
