Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for various entities, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates, trusts, and gift taxes

  • Provide tax planning and projection services for businesses and individuals

  • Review year-end closings prepared by the team

  • Conduct tax compliance reviews and perform technical research as needed

  • Manage engagement scopes, schedules, budgets, and deadlines

  • Interact directly with partners and clients, ensuring effective communication and relationship management

  • Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring compliance with due dates and time budgets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field

  • CPA license in an active status

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in public tax and accounting

  • Strong tax research skills and broad-based tax experience

  • Ability to delegate work effectively and demonstrate strong supervisory skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
