Our team operates in a hybrid model and values thoughtful innovation, operational discipline, and a heart for servant leadership.
Role Summary:
The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for all technology functions across the organization—including systems, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and software/operations enablement.
The CTO will modernize and streamline the technology stack supporting property management, asset operations, acquisitions, and construction workflows, ensuring the organization remains operationally excellent, data‑driven, secure, and scalable.
This role is ideal for a mission‑aligned technology leader who thrives in lean environments where versatility, stewardship, and impact matter.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Vision
Develop a company-wide technology roadmap supporting portfolio growth, operational efficiency, tenant experience, and acquisition strategy.
Assess, modernize, and optimize the company’s real estate technology stack (property management systems, CRM, ERP, construction/project tools, workflow automation).
Establish technology standards that reflect biblical stewardship—scalable, secure, cost‑effective, and simple.
Christian, Values‑Driven Leadership
Lead with humility, character, and a servant-leadership philosophy that positively shapes team culture.
Model integrity, respect, collaboration, and mission‑oriented decision-making.
Build trust and alignment across operational, property, and executive teams.
Operations & Real Estate Technology Systems
Oversee digital systems across property management, maintenance operations, leasing workflows, and financial reporting.
Manage integrations between PMS, CRM, accounting, budgeting, and tenant communication platforms.
Partner with operations, property managers, and acquisitions to identify and deploy tools that reduce friction and improve speed, accuracy, and visibility.
Support systems used in building, construction, and capital project management.
IT Infrastructure, Cybersecurity & Hybrid Environment
Maintain secure, reliable infrastructure across cloud, on‑prem, and mobile devices used across properties and offices.
Oversee cybersecurity, identity access management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
Establish policies and procedures appropriate for a dispersed, hybrid team (properties, corporate, remote).
Data, Analytics & Portfolio Insights
Build a data strategy that supports portfolio analysis, operational dashboards, and acquisition modeling.
Implement data governance, integrations, and reporting tools supporting KPIs across leasing, finance, occupancy, maintenance, and capital projects.
Deliver decision‑ready insights for leadership, asset managers, and property teams.
Engineering & Automation
Introduce lean automation to reduce manual workflows (lease generation, tenant communication, reporting, due diligence tracking, etc.).
Lead development or integration of simple internal tools that streamline real estate processes.
Vendor, Budget & Stewardship
Manage technology budget with a disciplined stewardship mindset—balancing innovation with cost effectiveness.
Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with SaaS tools, MSP/MSSP partners, and PropTech vendors.
Identify opportunities for licensing savings, vendor consolidation, and workflow automation.
