About the Opportunity
A well-established Business Management Firm serving high-net-worth individuals and entertainment industry clients is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its tax team in the Beverly Hills Area.
This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in high-net-worth individual taxation, pass-through entities, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses. The Senior Tax Accountant will work directly with Tax Managers, Partners, Business Managers, and Account Managers on sophisticated client tax matters.

Position Overview
The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare a broad range of federal and state tax returns while supporting tax planning, research, notices, audits, and year-end closeout work.
This role reports to the Tax Managers and involves frequent interaction with Partners, Business Managers, and Account Managers regarding client tax issues. The ideal candidate is technically strong, organized, responsive, and comfortable working with complex high-net-worth and entertainment industry clients.
Responsibilities

Prepare federal and state tax returns for:

LLCs and pass-through entities

Trusts
-
Estates
-
Gift tax matters
-
Pension plans
-

Prepare quarterly tax estimates and projections.

Respond to federal and state tax notices.

Prepare year-end closeouts for client entities.

Review general ledgers and prepare adjusting journal entries.

Prepare corporate minute questionnaires and related documentation.

Assist Tax Managers with tax research projects.

Support federal and state tax audits.

Communicate with Business Managers and Account Managers regarding client tax matters.

Maintain organized workpapers and supporting documentation.

Ensure returns and related deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

Assist with additional tax planning and compliance projects as needed.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of tax experience preparing returns for high-net-worth individuals.

Strong experience with LLCs, partnerships, S Corporations, and other pass-through entities.

CPA certification required.

Advanced degree in Taxation, Accounting, or a related field preferred.

Business Management Firm experience highly preferred.

Strong foundation in general ledger accounting and adjusting journal entries.

Experience with tax research, notices, estimates, and year-end closeouts.
