About the Opportunity
A premier Business Management Firm serving high-net-worth individuals and entertainment industry clients is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join its growing tax team in the Beverly Hills Area.
This role is ideal for an experienced tax professional with a background in business management, public accounting, or high-net-worth taxation. The Senior Tax Accountant will prepare and review complex tax returns, support client relationships, assist with tax planning, and work closely with firm leadership on sophisticated financial and tax matters.

Location: Beverly Hills Area
Schedule: Full-time, Hybrid — approximately three remote days per week
Position Overview
The Senior Tax Accountant will support a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and closely held entities across television, film, music, production, publishing, digital media, and related industries.
This position combines tax preparation, review, planning, research, financial analysis, and client communication. The successful candidate will be comfortable managing multiple engagements while providing responsive, high-touch service to clients and their professional representatives.
Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns.

Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and trust returns.

Support tax planning, projections, and year-round advisory engagements.

Perform tax research and document findings for clients and internal teams.

Review client cash flow reports and financial statements.

Prepare schedules, analyses, and financial reports for clients.

Prepare closeouts for loan-out corporations.

Analyze federal and state payroll withholding requirements.

Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters, outstanding information, and planning opportunities.

Assist with tax notices, amended returns, and other compliance matters.

Collaborate with accounting and business management teams on client engagements.

Help review work and provide guidance to less-experienced team members when needed.

Maintain organized tax files and ensure all deadlines are met.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of relevant tax, business management, or public accounting experience.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CPA license preferred but not required.

Experience working with high-net-worth individuals, entertainment clients, real estate clients, or closely held businesses.

Strong understanding of tax concepts related to:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement concepts.

Experience preparing and reviewing complex tax returns.

Proficiency with CCH Axcess strongly preferred.

Experience with BNA, ProSystem fx, and Datafaction is highly valued.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, and client communication skills.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
