Position Overview
Our client, a growing and innovative pathology and diagnostic services organization, is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead commercial growth initiatives and drive market expansion. This executive leader will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, building and managing high-performing sales teams, and cultivating strategic relationships across healthcare markets.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in laboratory services, pathology, diagnostics, or healthcare sales leadership, along with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and developing successful commercial organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing sales organization.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within physician practices, health systems, hospitals, and healthcare organizations.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Drive market expansion through business development and strategic account growth initiatives.
- Establish sales goals, performance metrics, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of sales leadership experience within healthcare, diagnostics, pathology, laboratory services, or related industries.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Experience building, leading, and developing successful sales teams.
- Strong business development, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to engage and influence executive-level healthcare stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
