About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading global diagnostics company, is seeking a Field Reimbursement Manager (FRM) to support healthcare providers, laboratories, and health systems across the Eastern United States.
This highly visible, field-based role serves as the primary reimbursement and market access resource for customers, helping navigate coverage, coding, reimbursement, and payer-related challenges to improve patient access to diagnostic testing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of reimbursement, payer policy, and provider education within the diagnostics or biotechnology industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary reimbursement and market access resource for assigned provider accounts and laboratory customers.
- Educate healthcare providers, laboratory personnel, and revenue cycle teams on reimbursement processes and best practices.
- Provide guidance on:
- CPT, PLA, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding
- Claims submission processes
- Prior authorizations
- Appeals and reimbursement workflows
- Resolve customer reimbursement challenges, including claim denials, underpayments, and payer access issues.
- Partner with Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations to support customer success.
- Assist with onboarding new customer accounts and provide ongoing reimbursement support.
- Collect and communicate payer insights, reimbursement trends, and customer feedback to internal stakeholders.
- Develop reimbursement resources, educational materials, and training programs.
- Ensure all customer interactions comply with applicable company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Information Management, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, or MHA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in:
- Field Reimbursement
- Market Access
- Revenue Cycle
- Provider Reimbursement
- Experience within diagnostics, biotechnology, molecular diagnostics, or laboratory services preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. reimbursement systems, including Commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
- Strong understanding of:
- CPT
- HCPCS
- ICD-10
- Claims processing
- Payer policy interpretation
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a field-based environment.
Travel
- Field-based position with approximately 50–75% travel throughout the Eastern U.S.
- Valid driver's license required.
Ideal Candidate

Experience supporting diagnostics, molecular testing, or laboratory services is highly preferred.
