We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as a Regional Sales Director for the Southern Region. This pivotal role involves developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies aimed at driving growth and exceeding revenue targets. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations, managing a team of sales representatives, and cultivating strong relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and implement strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass growth and revenue targets for the region.
  • Mentor and evaluate the field sales team's capabilities in selling and territory management.
  • Establish and oversee sales policies, procedures, and service offerings to maximize market reach.
  • Lead sales forecasting and set performance objectives for the team.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance reviews to strengthen the sales program.
  • Coordinate sales distribution by setting territories and quotas, and directing channel development efforts.
  • Engage with key clients, delivering impactful presentations and supporting sales representatives in closing deals.
  • Analyze sales performance and budget adherence, recommending necessary adjustments.
  • Handle the recruitment, training, and development of sales staff to ensure a high-performance team.
  • Facilitate communication with customers to enhance the business through up-selling and new lead generation.
  • Provide detailed product or service demonstrations and articulate their benefits to customers.
  • Interpret sales data and trends to inform strategic decisions and client base expansion.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in sales management, preferably in the specialty oncology diagnostic laboratory space.
