Job Title: Account Executive 

Position Overview

Our client is seeking driven Account Executives to join its growing diagnostic laboratory sales team. This is a hunter-focused outside sales role responsible for developing new business, building strong physician relationships, and growing diagnostic testing volume within an assigned territory.

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, competitive, and comfortable spending significant time in the field prospecting and developing new accounts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow new business within an assigned territory.
• Prospect through in-person visits, networking, referrals, and other business-development activities.
• Build relationships with physicians, medical practices, and healthcare organizations.
• Identify opportunities to increase diagnostic testing volume.
• Conduct face-to-face sales calls and territory visits.
• Manage the sales pipeline and consistently generate new business.
• Meet and exceed sales and territory growth goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Outside sales or business development experience.
• Diagnostic laboratory, pathology, healthcare, or related sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Highly self-motivated, competitive, and results-driven.
• Comfortable with frequent travel and face-to-face prospecting.
• Valid driver's license required.
