Commercial Construction Project Manager

Austin or Dallas, TX | $120K-$155K Salary, DOE | Two Immediate Openings

ParkerBeth Search Partners is recruiting two Project Managers—one for Austin and one for Dallas—for a respected commercial general contractor delivering high-end interiors and tenant improvements. This role is for a commercial builder who can own project financials, documentation, client communication, and delivery while working as a true partner to the Superintendent.

What You Will Own

• Participate in business development, relationship building, and preconstruction.
• Take ownership of construction from turnover through closeout.
• Manage cost control, buyout, forecasting, billing support, and change orders.
• Lead communication among clients, architects, landlords, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, procurement, meeting documentation, and closeout.
• Partner with the Superintendent to align field execution, schedule, quality, and financial results.
• Identify risk early, propose solutions, and protect the repeat-client relationship.

What You Bring

• Relevant Project Manager or Project Engineer experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Commercial interiors or tenant-improvement experience required; ground-up is valuable when paired with interiors depth.
• Mid-to-large project experience preferred.
• Ownership of cost control, forecasting, change management, and project documentation.
• Strong client, architect, landlord, subcontractor, and field-team communication.
• Ability to read drawings, build schedules, email effectively, and use PlanGrid or comparable platforms.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $120,000-$155,000, depending on experience.
