Production Manager — Regulated Manufacturing
A growing, privately held manufacturing company is seeking a strong, hands-on Production Manager to lead daily production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This role requires a steady floor leader who can communicate clearly, set priorities, allocate labor and resources, and keep production moving in a fast-changing operation. The ideal candidate will understand how to anticipate issues before they become problems and will bring structure, accountability, and consistency to the production floor.
This is a smaller, growing facility where hourly employees may work across multiple product lines. The right person must be able to develop people, cross-train team members, and help the workforce adapt quickly as production needs change.
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is important. Candidates must be comfortable working with GMP standards, SOPs, documentation, batch records, quality systems, audits, and the discipline required in a compliance-driven operation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily production operations across multiple product lines.
Set priorities, allocate labor, and ensure production goals are met.
Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production employees.
Cross-train team members to support changing production demands.
Improve communication, accountability, and consistency on the floor.
Ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, documentation, and quality requirements.
Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, and senior leadership.
Help improve production flow, labor utilization, efficiency, and overall plant performance.
Ideal Background
Production leadership experience in regulated manufacturing.
Background in food, beverage, nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, personal care, pharmaceutical, medical, or other GMP-regulated manufacturing environments.
Strong people-development and communication skills.
Comfortable in a smaller plant where leaders need to be hands-on.
Strong understanding of documentation, SOPs, batch records, GMPs, and audit readiness.
Ability to manage changing priorities without losing control of the floor.
