Commercial Fire Alarm Inspector

Corporate Hiring Solutions (CHS) is seeking experienced Fire Alarm Inspectors to join our client's team performing inspections and service work on commercial fire alarm systems.

Position Summary

The Fire Alarm Inspector will be responsible for inspecting, testing, documenting, and identifying issues with commercial fire alarm systems to help ensure systems are operating properly and in accordance with applicable requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous commercial fire alarm inspection experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professional relationships with customers and jobsite personnel.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and testing of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Test fire alarm panels, initiating devices, notification appliances, and related system components.
• Identify system deficiencies, faults, and equipment issues.
• Troubleshoot basic fire alarm system problems and identify repairs that may be required.
• Complete inspection reports and accurately document test results and deficiencies.
• Review system operation and communicate findings clearly to customers and appropriate personnel.
• Follow established inspection procedures, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
• Maintain accurate service and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians, customers, contractors, and other project personnel as needed.
• Maintain inspection equipment, tools, and documentation.
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional appearance and positive customer-service approach.
• Perform other inspection and service-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Commercial fire alarm inspection experience is strongly preferred.
