This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with a strong mechanical and electrical background who can troubleshoot equipment, diagnose problems, and make repairs independently.

- Shift: 3rd Shift
- Shift Differential: +$1.50 per hour
- Pay: Mid to Upper $30s per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary
The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing manufacturing machinery and equipment to support safe and efficient plant operations.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, identify the cause of equipment problems, and make appropriate repairs with minimal supervision. Strong electrical and machine maintenance experience is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other equipment-related issues.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
- Identify the root cause of equipment failures and determine the appropriate repair.
- Make timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime and production interruptions.
- Perform equipment inspections and preventative maintenance according to established schedules.
- Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with equipment installation, modification, and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
- Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance area.
- Work independently while communicating effectively with production and maintenance leadership.
- Perform other maintenance-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Previous machine maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience is required.
- Strong mechanical maintenance background.
- Ability to independently diagnose equipment problems and determine the appropriate repair.
- Ability to make mechanical and electrical repairs safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work the assigned 3rd shift schedule.
Preferred Experience
Experience with the following is highly desirable:
- Industrial manufacturing machinery
- Motors and motor controls
- Electrical systems and controls
- PLC troubleshooting
- Pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Preventative maintenance programs
- Industrial equipment troubleshooting
- Electrical testing and diagnostic equipment
- Lockout/Tagout procedures
Compensation & Incentives
Pay is expected to be in the mid to upper $30s per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
A $1.50 per hour 3rd-shift differential is offered in addition to the base rate.
