Fire Alarm Installation & Inspection Helper

Corporate Hiring Solutions (CHS) is seeking motivated individuals for a Fire Alarm Installation & Inspection Helper position supporting our client's commercial fire alarm installation and inspection teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn the fire alarm and low-voltage industry while gaining hands-on experience working on commercial job sites. Previous fire alarm experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.

Position Summary

The Fire Alarm Installation & Inspection Helper will assist experienced Fire Alarm Installers and Inspectors with commercial fire alarm installation, testing, inspection, and service activities.

The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and comfortable working with tools and equipment. This position provides an opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop skills in commercial fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fire Alarm Installers with commercial fire alarm system installations.
• Assist with pulling, routing, labeling, and organizing fire alarm wiring.
• Assist with installing fire alarm devices and related components.
• Assist with making connections under the direction of experienced technicians.
• Assist Fire Alarm Inspectors with inspections and testing of commercial fire alarm systems.
• Help prepare tools, equipment, materials, and jobsite areas.
• Observe and learn proper installation, inspection, and testing procedures.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and identifying potential system issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from experienced installers, inspectors, and supervisors.
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements and company procedures.
• Work cooperatively with installers, inspectors, electricians, contractors, and other jobsite personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the installation and inspection teams.

Qualifications

Previous fire alarm experience is not required.
