Sales Manager
The Regional Sales Manager – HVAC Applications leads and manages a team of Territory Sales Managers within a defined geographic region. This role is responsible for driving regional revenue growth, executing sales strategy, and ensuring consistent performance across the team, with a primary focus on the Home Defender HD and SuperV® product lines.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines coaching, accountability, and strategic selling. The Regional Sales Manager will develop HVAC contractor and distributor relationships, support the team in hunting for new opportunities, and ensure a high standard of customer engagement and service.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Territory Sales Managers across the region.

Drive regional sales growth for Home Defender HD and SuperV® products.

Set sales targets, monitor performance, and manage pipeline and forecasts.

Conduct regular coaching, ride-alongs, and performance reviews.

Support new business development with HVAC contractors and distributors.

Oversee key accounts and assist with complex or strategic deals.

Ensure consistent use of CRM tools and adherence to sales processes.

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.

Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product teams.

Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Report regional performance and forecasts to sales leadership.
Qualifications

7+ years of HVAC sales experience, including residential contractors and distribution channels.

Prior experience managing and developing field-based or territory sales teams.

Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to grow territories and contractor relationships.

CRM experience required; HubSpot and MS Office preferred.

Strong understanding of territory planning and the full sales cycle.

Education & Experience

5+ years of HVAC contractor sales experience preferred.

Technical training or working knowledge of residential HVAC systems is a plus.
