Duties & Responsibilities

 

In this role, the Territory Sales Manager for HVAC applications will manage sales operations within a designated geographic area. This role is responsible for generating new business and driving revenue growth by building strong customer relationships and executing the company’s sales strategies in the territory with focus on the Home Defender HD and SuperV® products.

You will be expected to build and grow contractor relationships as well as hunt for new opportunities within your region. You will be directly tasked to provide great customer service to our clients.

 

What we need you to bring

 

·   Experience selling to HVAC residential contractors and the HVAC distribution channel.

·   Advanced communication skills and strong presentation skills.

·   Experience managing and growing HVAC contractor accounts and territories.

·   Experience with CRM and productivity tools, HubSpot and MS Office strongly preferred.

·   5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in a territory or field-based role.

·   Strong understanding of the sales cycle and territory management techniques.

·   Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

·   Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

·   Above all else we are looking for a hunter that will grow the business throughout the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·   Manage and grow sales of the Home Defender HD and SuperV within assigned geographic territory.

·   Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead follow-up, especially with HVAC contractors and distributors.

·   Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.

·   Present, promote, and sell products to existing and prospective customers.

·   Conduct product presentations and training sessions for customers and partners.

·   Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy.

·   Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure customer satisfaction and brand alignment.

·   Represent an industry events, trade shows, and networking events.

·   Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and territory analysis to the VP of Sales and executive leadership.

·   Work closely with sales leadership on strategic initiatives, strategy and customer engagement.

·   Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience

·   Prefer at least 5 years of HVAC contractor sales experience.

·   Ideal candidate will have some certified technical training and technical knowledge of residential HVAC.
