TITLE: Revenue Cycle Manager  / Physician BillingLocation: Buckeye Lake, OH Now is your chance to join a Forbes magazine top 100 hospital where career growth and opportunity await you.They are committed to building healthcare teams whose care exceeds the expectations of their patients and community and are looking for quality talent who share the same values.They’re nestled in a beautiful rural setting but close enough to the big city to enjoy that too!If that sounds like the change you are looking for, please read on…What they’re looking for:•Bachelor’s degree in education, business or other related field.•Must have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience performing similar work.•Someone with past physician billing experience, leadership experience and Epic experience. •Demonstrates a broad base knowledge in the areas of patient registration, billing, accounts receivable and cash management, managed care contractual terms, financial reporting, and industry standards for healthcare revenue cycle management practices.•Ability to lead and manage diverse staff in a learning environment with frequent changes in departmental priorities.  Ability to recognize necessary changes in priority of tasks and allocation of resources, and act upon them as required to meet workload balance.•Management skills that emphasize team building with the ability to provide clear direction to the department, while also functioning as an individual contributor.  •Ability to interpret 3rd party payer contract requirements and recommend, design and implement procedures for compliance with regulations and standards.  Ability to negotiate with insurance vendors, medical directors, and 3rd party payers when appropriate in order to facilitate the denial management process. Ability to communicate and work with physicians, physician office personnel, associates, case managers, 3rd party payer review personnel, and others in order to expedite the revenue cycle processes to avoid negative financial impact on GMG.   Hours and compensation potential:•The position is full time, hybrid position(onsite 1-2X per month. We would like to get someone within 1-1.5 hr drive).•The range is between $77K-105K(midpoint $91K someone with @10years experience) depending on experience.•Full benefits package being offered.What you’ll be doing:•Manages and directly participates in the performance of the revenue cycle operations of the Hospital and Medical Group to maintain a high functioning revenue cycle department.   •Plans, organizes, and directs overall operations of patient accounting functions for both hospital and professional billing.  •Manages and directly supervises daily operations of the billing, follow up and denial processes. •Determines work schedules, monitors performance, resolves technical and project issues and educates staff.Additional info:•Position will report to the Director Revenue Cycle whom is well respected within the organization.
