Position Overview
This analytical role supports manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams by maintaining accurate master data in the ERP system, optimizing product costing, and driving process improvements for efficient production planning and cost control.
Core Responsibilities
· Creating, maintaining, and revising manufacturing BOMs, routings, work centers, and costing data within the ERP system.
· Providing timely cost and lead-time support to sales while validating production times, setup/changeover data, and lot sizes.
· Processing engineering change orders and supply chain requests related to master data, production times, and material lead times.
· Conducting make/buy analyses and supporting decisions that improve production flow and efficiency.
· Partnering with process and manufacturing engineering teams to refine workflows and reduce setup times.
· Developing and maintaining accurate product costing with rolling updates for reliable financial planning.
· Using workflow tools and advanced spreadsheet functions to analyze data, generate reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years in manufacturing or industrial engineering. Working knowledge of ERP systems (BOMs, routings, costing), Jira or similar tools, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Primarily office-based with regular computer use, occasional walking, reaching, and light lifting (up to 25 lbs). Reasonable accommodations available.
