· Salary: $100,000 Base salary
· Benefits: full benefits including health, dental vision, life etc. after 60 days

· PTO/Vacation: First two years 80 hours, year 3 is 3 weeks
· Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Medicare Home Health Agency

· Establish services policies and procedures in compliance with state health statutes and administrative rules to include CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines for employee safety, universal precautions, and infections control procedures.
· Assure compliance with company policy and all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.. .
· Remain informed of home health regulations and standards as well as management issues.
· Accountable for all clinical issues.

Director of Nursing
DEFINITION:
The Director of Nursing is a qualified leader appointed by the Administrator with approval of the Governing Body to direct and coordinate the clinical activities of the Agency. The Director of Nursing may be a direct employee of the agency or a related business entity.
LINE OF AUTHORITY:
The Director of Nursing reports directly to the Administrator.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Supervise all personnel (professional, personal care aides) who deliver direct patient services.
· Participates in all activities relative to the provision of professional services.
· Ensures that all staff providing care maintains professional standards of community nurse practice.
· Maintains and adheres to agency procedures and patient care policy.
· Establishes services policies and procedures in compliance with state health statutes and administrative rules to include CDC guidelines, OSHA guidelines for employee safety, universal precautions, and infections control procedures.
· Assure compliance with company policy and all federal, state, and local regulatory bodies.
· Supervise all clinical activities and staff related to nursing. Communicates and interacts with the Administrator.
· Assist with recruiting, hiring, orienting and ongoing in-service education of all nursing staff.
· Remain informed of home health regulations and standards as well as management issues.
· Accountable for all clinical issues.
· Provide guidance and support for supervisory, field and office staff.
· Conduct employee performance evaluations. Assists with development of new job standards as needed.
· Counsel staff appropriately and in a timely manner concerning areas of deficiency as well as areas of excellence and quality improvement.
· Ensure coordination of care by all disciplines.
· Assure that a reassessment of a client’s needs is performed by the appropriate health care professional (i.e. when there is a significant health status change in the client’s condition at the physician’s request or after hospital discharge.)
· Ensure compliance with The Conditions of Participation.
· Participate in review, analysis and appraisal of the effectiveness of the total agency program.
· Participate in short- and long-range planning for the agency and implement specific measures for agency growth. Increase market share through education of physicians and other community and referral sources.
· Participate in the evaluation of agency programs.
· Participate in state, local and national organizations, meetings, seminars, workshops and activities relating to the home health profession and health care services.
· Assure service satisfaction through client visits and other measures, as appropriate. Investigate and resolve agency complaints.
· Ensure care delivery meets the needs of the patients and follows professional practice standards.
· Develop, implement, review and revise policies and procedures to guide care delivery.
· Monitor compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws, Professional Standards and principles, established policies and procedures and the plan of care.
· Is available at all times during business hours or designates in writing a qualified alternate registered nurse to service in her/his absence
