Speech Language Pathologist

 

 

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role requires in-person attendance at our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with diverse communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based interventions.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and families about communication strategies and support.
  • Assist with discharge planning and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel following professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Current licensure with the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of hire.
  • Prior experience as an SLP is a plus.
