Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer with deep experience in fluid power systems (hydraulics and pneumatics) to support customer applications, product integration, and technical solution development. This role bridges engineering and customer-facing functions, ensuring optimal system performance and successful implementation of engineered solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical lead for customer applications involving hydraulic and pneumatic systems

  • Collaborate with sales and customers to define system requirements and recommend optimal solutions

  • Design, specify, and support integration of fluid power components and systems (valves, pumps, actuators, manifolds, etc.)

  • Provide troubleshooting and performance optimization for existing systems

  • Support product selection, sizing, and validation for custom and standard applications

  • Assist in prototype development, testing, and system validation

  • Create technical documentation, application notes, and customer-facing materials

  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

  • 5–10+ years of experience in fluid power systems (hydraulics and/or pneumatics)

  • Strong knowledge of:

    • Hydraulic circuit design and analysis

    • Pneumatic control systems

    • Fluid dynamics and system troubleshooting

  • Experience with component selection and system integration

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

  • Hands-on experience with testing, validation, and field support

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work directly with customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mobile hydraulics, industrial automation, or motion control systems

  • Familiarity with CAD tools and simulation software

  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety requirements related to fluid power systems
