Job Description

• Serve as the operational leader and second-in-command to the CEO.
• Translate firm vision into actionable plans, measurable goals, and day-to-day execution.
• Oversee and optimize operations across administration, operations, marketing, and other core business functions.
• Develop, implement, and refine operational policies, workflows, and procedures.
• Build accountability across departments through strong leadership, communication, and performance management.
• Create, monitor, and improve KPIs tied to operational efficiency, financial performance, client satisfaction, and firm growth.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and core financial operations in partnership with leadership.
• Oversee bookkeeping, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and related operational finance processes.
• Evaluate systems, software, and tools to improve efficiency, reporting, and client experience.
• Identify future operational needs and proactively build scalable infrastructure to support growth.
• Supervise internal team members and outside vendors to ensure performance and alignment with firm standards.
• Partner closely with HR and leadership on hiring strategy, team structure, and retention.
• Lead and develop managers and team members across multiple departments in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in a senior or executive operations role within the legal industry.
• Strong experience within a personal injury law firm; plaintiff-side experience strongly preferred.
• Proven success leading operations in a high-volume law firm environment.
• Experience managing teams of 25+ employees across multiple departments.
• Strong knowledge of legal operations, financial workflows, staffing, and process improvement.
• Strong technical familiarity with Filevine, Lead Docket, RingCentral, and CallRail.
• Demonstrated success implementing systems that improve efficiency, accountability, and scalable growth.
• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in business, finance, or a related field.
• MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
