Director Emergency Services (RN)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to lead our Emergency Services team as the Director. This role is pivotal in maintaining our commitment to exceptional, patient-centered care in a fast-paced and high-acuity environment. The Director will be responsible for strategic planning, operational management, and leading a team of skilled healthcare professionals. A key component of this role involves fostering a supportive and collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Emergency Department.
• Manage staff relations, including performance management, recruitment, and conflict resolution.
• Oversee departmental budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and manage vendor relations.
• Enhance professional growth and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical protocols.
• Ensure the highest standards of patient care through effective team management.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona RN license or Compact RN License with Arizona endorsement.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and Handle with Care.
• Proven leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Master's degree in nursing or a relevant field is preferred.

Location
