§ Salary: $170,000 to $225,000 Base Salary (Plus discretionary performance bonus, origination credits, and full benefits)

§ Schedule: Full-time, Direct-Hire, Minimum 1,850 annual billable target

§ Duties:

The incoming Senior Real Estate Associate will act as a pivotal advisor across commercial real estate transactions, debt instruments, and project developments, guiding institutional lenders, commercial borrowers, equity investors, and property owners.

Primary responsibilities encompass:

⨖ Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex real property conveyances, master commercial leases, and joint venture documentation.

⨖ Representing financial institutions and corporate borrowers in senior, mezzanine, construction, and permanent financing matters.

⨖ Directing comprehensive title reviews, land surveys, environmental assessments, and corporate due diligence protocols.

⨖ Orchestrating commercial real estate closings from preliminary term sheet drafting through post-closing execution.

⨖ Advising corporate clients on zoning compliance, land entitlement, municipal permitting, and regulatory matters.

⨖ Collaborating cross-functionally with corporate, tax, and litigation practice groups on structured commercial deals.

§ Qualifications:

Candidate evaluation will center on established transactional capability and professional credentials:

⨖ Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

⨖ Active Bar License in the State of New Jersey in good standing.

⨖ Five (5) or more years of substantive experience managing commercial real estate transactions and commercial lending matters.

⨖ Substantive experience counseling institutional lenders, real estate developers, and investor groups.

⨖ High-level transactional drafting, negotiating, and contract analysis capabilities.

§ Skills:

The following credentials and capabilities are considered highly advantageous:

⨖ Admission to the State Bar of New York (or eligibility for prompt motion admission).

⨖ Practical experience presenting before planning boards or handling land use and zoning entitlements.

⨖ Demonstrated experience leading multi-property portfolio acquisitions and refinancings independently.

⨖ Strong orientation toward strategic client management and practice development.
