Location: Somerset County, NJ (Fully onsite with potential for Hybrid later)
Reports To: VP of Water Resources Department
Salary: $75,000 – $110,000 DOE
Relocation: Not offered
Travel: Possibly up to 25% for client meetings and field visits
Ideal Candidate Background
- BS in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering (Master's not required but is a plus)
- PE not required (but is a plus)
- 2-5 years of Engineering experience in water and wastewater treatment
- Experience with AutoCAD, Excel, and Project
- Well organized and able to communicate well (intercompany and with clients)
- Prior experience with municipal water and wastewater treatment a plus
- Positive and upbeat attitude with a willingness to collaborate and grow your knowledge (and career)
Key Responsibilities
- Work with a team in the development and delivery of water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including hydraulic and process evaluations, detailed design, and construction administration.
- Preparation of reports and findings, design plans and specifications, cost estimates and contract documents.
- Monitor and document project progress
- Provide support to project bidding
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
- Able to participate in client meetings and field visits/services
