Top AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in our Houston office.

Qualified candidates will have experience with temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings, as well as trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation wage and hour class action litigation, and single plaintiff employment litigation.

Strong legal writing skills and experience with discovery, motion practice, and researching and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings required.

Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations preferred.

We are seeking a team-oriented associate with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic who has demonstrated client relationship and business development skills and an ability to thrive in busy, collegial environments.

Top academics and experience required. Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not required.

The expected salary for this position is $240,000.
