Our client, a leading international AmLaw 25 law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Employment Practice Group. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients on a variety of employment matters and litigation. 

 


Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing.
  • 2+  years of substantive California employment law experience and litigation at a law firm.
  • A solid background with relevant experience in wage-hour class actions, PAGA class actions, single-plaintiff cases, as well as matters involving discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Experience with non-compete and trade secret issues, along with traditional labor experience, is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and serve as lead or point person on litigation teams
  • Deposition and/or courtroom experience required
  • Employment counseling experience preferred
  • Excellent legal writing, verbal communication, and analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated professionalism with the ability to engage directly with high-profile clients and investors.
  • Highly organized, with proven ability to balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player who also thrives working independently.
 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise corporate clients.
  • Counsel clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters impacting employment matters.
  • Provide clients with guidance across a variety of practice areas, including wage-hour class actions, PAGA class actions, single-plaintiff and discrimination, harassment, retaliation.
  • Manage complex transactions, balancing multiple priorities with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver integrated client service.
  • Engage with partners and clients from the outset, offering strategic guidance and practical solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $235,000 – $420,000, commensurate with class year and experience.
