A growing hospitality company in Massachusetts is seeking a hands-on Catering Manager to oversee catering operations, support business development, and ensure events are executed to brand standards. This role is ideal for someone who can balance client relationships, event coordination, team support, and revenue growth in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate catering operations
Ensure events are executed properly and seamlessly
Help protect existing catering accounts and develop new business
Build relationships with clients and prospective customers
Assist with marketing efforts to promote catering services
Supervise food setup and event execution
Book events and conduct site tours
Discuss menus, options, and logistics with potential clients
Train and support team members
Maintain a positive and productive work environment
Qualifications
3+ years catering, hospitality, restaurant, or event management experience
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Ability to multitask and stay organized
Familiarity with event menus and catering logistics
Basic food safety knowledge
Strong problem-solving skills and accountability
Ability to motivate and direct team members
Basic Google Workspace and Microsoft knowledge
Professional, confident, and team-oriented approach
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Health insurance, 4 weeks of vacation annually.
