We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our Obstetrics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a passion for women's health and neonatal care, and who are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in labor, delivery, and postpartum settings.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and their families.
• Utilize advanced fetal monitoring techniques and adhere to AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios.
• Participate in continuous education and maintain required certifications.
• Manage and respond to emergency situations with competence and calm professionalism.

Unit Details:

• Labor & Delivery Beds: 5
• Operating Room Suites for C-Sections: 2
• Triage Beds: 1
• Postpartum Rooms: 3 single, 4 double (used as single rooms for patient and support person)
• Annual Births: Approximately 250

Schedule and Compensation:

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Salary Range: $32.94 - $49.38 per hour, with additional $4.00 for nights and $3.25 for weekends
• Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 with a 2-year commitment

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN license
• At least 1 year of experience in Obstetrics or Labor & Delivery
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring competency every 2 years
• Knowledge of common diagnoses including labor, antepartum, postpartum, GYN surgical, and neonates
