EHS Manager - Plant Level

Must have at least (8) years of progressive safety and environmental leadership experience within manufacturing operation and a Bachelor of Science degree in safety or environmental. 

Position will report into the VP of Operations at the manufacturing campus and will be accountable for determining strategic direction of all EHS programs, goals and priorities for (2000+) employees.  Directly supervise a large team of EHS professionals, medical, and security department.  This role will support overall strategic direction of EHS program.

Essential Skills:

·         Coach, counsel location leaders to assist them in the execution of their EHS accountabilities; parter with location leadership to deliver EHS objectives. Lead, mentor, energize and support location’s professional EHS staff.

·         Demonstrated professional with passion for change and relentless focus on execution. 

·         Ability to make difficult decisions with sometimes an incomplete set of data.

·         Critical skills should include execution, attention to detail, initiatives, conflict resolution, customer focus, collaboration, building ownership and commitment, developing others, drive for change, tenacity and getting organization support.
