Programming Manager / Lead CNC Programmer

We are partnering with a well-established, growing precision manufacturing company that has made significant investments in advanced machining technology and continues to expand its capabilities.

Due to a recent leadership transition, the organization is seeking a high-level CNC Programming Manager to step in and lead the programming function while remaining hands-on with complex work.

This is a critical, high-visibility role with direct impact on production, efficiency, and overall machining strategy.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of CNC programmers
• Own and execute complex CNC programming, including multi-axis machining
• Partner closely with engineering to interpret drawings and optimize manufacturability
• Drive improvements in programming processes, tooling, and cycle times
• Support a modern, well-equipped machine shop with advanced capabilities

What We’re Looking For

• Strong background in CNC programming (CAD/CAM)
• Experience with multi-axis machining, including 5-axis
• Ability to work from complex drawings and GD&T
• Proven ability to operate at a lead or senior level, formally or informally
• Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with a focus on quality and efficiency

Compensation

$125,000 – $175,000 + full benefits
