Associate Attorney (Collections & Community Association)
Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year

Location
Tysons Corner, VA (on-site during onboarding; after training, hybrid available with 1 to 2 remote days per week).
Note:Must be actively barred in Virginia and have prior collections experience (creditor-side preferred). No relocation assistance is offered.

Job Description
- Independently manage a high-volume collections caseload (approximately 250 to 400 active matters) from intake through resolution
- Handle court appearances and enforcement proceedings in multiple jurisdictions, including covenant enforcement matters
- Work closely with paralegals, legal assistants, and senior attorneys to drive files forward efficiently
- Review and interpret governing documents and client materials; draft analyses and recommendations for attorney review
- Communicate regularly with community association boards and management companies, including routine reporting and status updates
- Track and manage billing (hourly and task-code/fixed-fee matters) with strong attention to detail
- Attend occasional on-site client meetings (board meetings, elections, and related association matters)
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active Virginia Bar license (required)
- 2+ years of creditor-side collections experience (community association/HOA collections a plus)
- Comfortable handling court appearances and post-judgment enforcement
- Strong legal research, writing, and client communication skills
- Organized and able to manage a fast-moving, high-volume caseload
