Our client, an AmLaw 150 international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a Senior Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Labor Relations & Employment Practice in Denver. This role offers the opportunity to advise and advocate for employers on a wide range of traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining, contract administration, grievance arbitration, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
Candidate Profile

JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record

Active Bar Admission in Colorado, in good standing

7+ years of traditional labor law experience
- Candidates with mixed employment litigation and some labor experience will also be considered
- Extensive experience in traditional labor matters, including collective bargaining and contract administration

Grievance arbitration experience with the ability to handle matters independently
- Experience defending and prosecuting unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB strongly preferred
- Strong writing, analytical, and research skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Soft Skills: Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; strong communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities

Represent employers in collective bargaining negotiations and contract administration
- Handle grievance arbitration proceedings and related labor disputes

Defend and prosecute unfair labor practice charges before the NLRB

Provide strategic counseling to clients on traditional labor matters and compliance issues

Support litigation matters involving labor relations and employment disputes
- Collaborate with partners, associates, and clients to deliver efficient and effective legal solutions

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive Salary: Annual base salary expected to range from $210,000 – $230,000, based on experience, qualifications, and market factors
