CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT – OUTPATIENT CLINIC (PERMANENT)

SunState Health Staffing has been retained as the recruitment partner for a large, well-established outpatient healthcare organization in Northern Florida seeking experienced Registered Medical Assistants.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role supports a fast-paced outpatient clinical setting focused on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Working under the direction of a supervising clinical provider, you will contribute to patient evaluations, assist with diagnostic testing, and help maintain an organized and welcoming clinical environment.

SCHEDULE AND WORK LIFE BALANCE

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon

  • No rotating shifts

  • Consistent weekday schedule supporting work life balance

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and interview patients; obtain and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and related measurements)

  • Prepare, clean, and maintain treatment and exam rooms; ensure supplies are stocked and ready

  • Perform diagnostic testing including electrocardiogram, glucose, international normalized ratio, urinalysis, and rapid strep testing

  • Administer injections, intravenous treatments, and draw blood as ordered and within scope

  • Clean and sterilize instruments and equipment after each use

  • Manage prescription requests and pharmacy communications as directed by providers

  • Support patients over the phone with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

  • Assist front office staff with phones, charting, filing, and scheduling as needed

  • Perform additional duties to support overall clinical operations

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Registered Medical Assistant certification

  • Basic Life Support certification required

  • Basic X-Ray Machine Operator certification preferred

  • At least one year of back office or clinical experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Compassionate, professional, and comfortable handling sensitive situations

  • Able to work independently while contributing effectively in a team environment
