PHYSICIAN (MD / DO) – PRIMARY CARE

SunState Health Staffing has been retained as the recruitment partner for a large, well-established primary care organization in Northern Florida seeking a dedicated Physician (MD or DO) to join its growing clinical team.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity allows physicians to focus on delivering high-quality primary care within a supportive, team-oriented outpatient environment. You will work alongside experienced clinical professionals with access to strong operational and administrative resources, enabling excellent patient outcomes and long-term professional growth.

SCHEDULE AND WORK–LIFE BALANCE

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon

• No nights, weekends, or on-call requirements

• Predictable weekday schedule supporting work–life balance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide comprehensive primary care services in accordance with established standards of care

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions

• Order, review, and interpret laboratory and imaging studies

• Prescribe medications and educate patients on treatment plans and potential side effects

• Refer patients to specialists as clinically appropriate

• Deliver preventive care and lifestyle counseling

• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation

• Uphold strict patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance

REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited medical school (MD or DO)

• Active Florida medical license or eligibility for licensure

• Minimum one year of experience in a primary care setting preferred

• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset

• Proficiency with EHR systems and standard clinical software
