FC Staffing has been exclusively retained by a rapidly growing global software company with headquarters in France and operations across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. The company is expanding its U.S. The People Operations function is seeking a hands-on, strategic, and people-centered Director of People Operations to support their growing U.S. team.

 

Job description:

  • Oversee the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance, and offboarding.

  • Manage U.S. employment compliance across multiple states.

  • Partner with global HR teams in France and Mexico to align People strategies.

  • Lead payroll, benefits, performance reviews, compensation processes, and HR policy updates.

  • Champion company culture, learning and development, and internal communication.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leadership on HR best practices.

  • Use HRIS or ATS systems and data to improve decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Support a collaborative hybrid NYC team and contribute to cross-border initiatives.

  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion as part of the company culture.

 
 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience.

  • Solid knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance.

  • Experience in SaaS, tech, or international organizations.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance strategy and day-to-day HR operations.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience with modern HR tools such as Gusto, Rippling, or Deel.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Fluent or conversational French required.
