Senior Energetics Formulation Chemist / Engineer to lead the development, processing, scale-up, and manufacturing transition of energetic materials for solid rocket motor applications.

Ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with energetic materials and solid propellants, along with a strong understanding of formulation development, material properties, manufacturing processes, performance testing, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead energetic materials and solid propellant formulation development and process improvement.
Evaluate experiments, analyze test results, troubleshoot technical issues.
Manufacturing scale-up, and production readiness.
Equipment selection, process design, and operational readiness.
Collaborate with propulsion, design, manufacturing, testing, and quality teams.

 

Education & Required Qualifications:
Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in energetic materials, solid propellants, or solid rocket motor propulsion; 10+ years preferred.

 

Preferred Experience:
Experience with propellant formulation, material properties, rheology, cure chemistry, aging, or performance characterization.
Experience establishing or launching energetic materials laboratories, pilot lines, or production facilities.
