We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Interventional Pain Physician with a background in Neurology to join our multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to combine expertise in neurological disorders with advanced interventional pain management techniques to improve patients’ quality of life.
\nResponsibilities:
\nEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions, particularly those with neurological origins.
\nPerform a wide range of interventional pain management procedures, including but not limited to epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections, nerve blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and other minimally invasive techniques.
\nDevelop individualized, comprehensive treatment plans that may include pharmacologic, interventional, behavioral, and rehabilitative therapies.
\nCollaborate with neurologists, physiatrists, orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, and other specialists to ensure coordinated patient care.
\nProvide patient education regarding treatment options, expected outcomes, and lifestyle modifications.
\nDocument patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with medical and regulatory standards.
\nStay current with advancements in interventional pain management, neurology, and related fields.
\nQualifications:
\nMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
\nBoard certification or eligibility in Neurology.
\nCompletion of an accredited Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship.
\nBoard certification or eligibility in Pain Medicine.
\nValid medical license (or ability to obtain) in the state of practice.
\nStrong procedural skills and clinical judgment in both neurology and interventional pain management.
\nExcellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
\nPreferred Experience:
\nExperience in treating patients with complex neurological pain conditions such as neuropathic pain, radiculopathy, headache disorders, and post-stroke pain syndromes.
\nFamiliarity with advanced neuromodulation therapies.
\nPrevious experience in private practice, hospital, or multidisciplinary clinic setting.
