Opportunity Overview:
Join a dynamic team in the heart of the Detroit metropolitan area, specializing in comprehensive women's imaging and radiology services. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with major healthcare systems, providing vital imaging services with a focus on breast and women's health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
- Perform image-guided breast procedures including stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, as well as needle localizations.
- Interpret 2D/3D mammography, breast MRI, and diagnostic breast imaging studies.
- Maintain communication with patients regarding imaging results.
- Collaborate with breast surgeons, OB/GYNs, oncology teams, and primary care physicians.
- Ensure compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
Schedule & Lifestyle:
- Primarily outpatient settings with minimal or no hospital call.
- Limited weekend shifts and daytime schedule.
- Potential for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
- Focused subspecialty workflow without general radiology coverage.
Candidate Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Fellowship training in Breast Imaging, Women's Imaging, or Body Imaging with breast specialization.
- MQSA-qualified with strong procedural skills in breast interventions.
- Exceptional communication skills for patient interaction.
